The Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation
The Africa Prize encourages ambitious and talented sub-Saharan African engineers from all disciplines to apply their skills to develop scalable solutions to local challenges, highlighting the importance of engineering as an enabler of improved quality of life and economic development.
This project took place over 25 days with two crew in Tanzania and Zambia working in remote areas to capture personal interviews, high quality still images, and video for The Africa Prize for Engineering's branding package, success stories, and project promotion. The final assets included still photography, social media posts live from location, 7 short videos, and 3 time-lapse.
This project features the incredibly inspiring of work Askwar Hilonga of Nanofilter, Musenga Silwawa of the On Spot Fertilizer Applicator, Matthew Alcock of Standard Microgrid, and the communities they serve.
